What's Really Exciting. . . .
A fabulous opportunity to explore the world
with a Bead Cruise in the Baltic Sea
July 15-25 2008!

A letter to my friends and students,

This beading adventure has and will continue to be my heart and soul of expression. I have decided to reduce my workload this coming year, as it is my daughter's last year of elementary school. I have for many years been a 'class mom,' doing many tasks and volunteering. Once kids are in middle school, the 'hands on' aspect reduces considerably. I look forward to a year of more family time.

I will sadly, not be attending the Bead&Button Show in 2008. On the bright side, I already have my 2009 submissions 'in the bag!' Plus, the coming year will allow me to get to the many, ignored for lack of time, things on my table.

I am traveling to Japan to teach this year, which is unbelievably exciting! I will have a photo page when I return. I do still have a few bookings for next year...please refer to my schedule page. The cruise to the Baltic being a very big highlight of the year. My husband and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary next May and we are hopefully trying to go on the cruise together!

I am going to be working on my long neglected website that is handled wonderfully by Tom Bishop...thanks Tom for your patience with me!  If you all haven't clicked on his link, www.sonuvabish.com, please do!  He is a very creative and diversified individual! He has wonderful music and photography of our beautiful West.

You will now see a link in my navigation bar for a Kits! page. YAY! It is under construction, but I (Tom) will be getting it ready. I have two or three kits that will be available on it.

I also have a wonderful project--bead related of course--that I would like to really delve into. I cannot talk about it just yet... but stay tuned!

I thank you for all your continued support, encouragement and fun in the classroom. I look forward to many more years to come exploring, sharing and just plain having fun with beads.

Love, Nancy
